But--As I was driving on a local interstate I live in central Florida some other drivers caught my attention, telling me to get off the road, my van was on fire! The blower turns on and off sporadically. Figured out a cheap fix and now the driver side lowbeam is doing the same thing. I am hoping that my dealer is able to fix the car and have the necessary parts to do so. This car is at the very least a safety hazard and Dangerous to drive and be on the road. It's been incredibly frustrating figuring out what to do with these electrical issues but having a community like this makes it much easier to deal with. When it shuts down, there are no warning lights, no breaks, no steering nor the transmission work. By removing negative first, one eliminates this risk. When I press the lock button, my windshield wipers go up ever so slightly or just turn on randomly on their own. I have had issues with brakes front end alignment the van eating tires like they are candy. I just don't know what to do? I'm not buying that excuse. I guess it found it's reset position after all.

You can use a multimeter or test light to check by touching the one end to the bare posts on the top of the fuel pump fuse and the other end to chassis ground. I can not get a resolution for the vehicle it is 8 years old. I had tried a reset before exchanging the battery but nothing happened. So I just did this again and purchase a better gas cap. The consumer shouldn't have to pay for a known manufacture's flaw. Battery drainage may still occur even after a new battery or fuel pump is installed. I once have had a vehicle sit for 8 months waiting for a module because Chrysler parts were on back order and not available. This will allow time for the airbag capacitors to discharge. Hasn't stalled yet, at least as far as I know.
