Description: 1980 Chevrolet C-10 Shortbed Stepside Sport I have a 1980 Chevy Stepside Truck that I bought to restore, but have to let it go due to some extreme medical issues. The only rust is a spot on the passenger rear cab corner. I have the original sun visors. This looks like a really nice truck, body-wise, but man, what head-scratcher. Therefore I will be looking at the final bid seriously and motivated to sell if the price seems reasonable. It has a 350 engine and a 350 transmission. There is no engine or transmission, but it had a 454 that was bad and has been removed. It is a Shop Truck, ot a show truck. This truck was conservatively lowered 2 inches but has a really nice comfortable ride height. This is a wonderful truck that can be restored fairly easily and quickly and I was really looking forward to finishing it, but won't be able to due to my illness. The bed wood was replaced with composite decking to withstand the Florida sun with the color to contrast the interior color theme. I needed to do something about an automatic shifter. It has a 350 engine and a 350 transmission. I've also went through the emergency brake setup, ew cables and such, ecause I was going to run the original manual transmission, ut it was junk.
The truck has the original motor and transmission and it runs strong. He made me a smoke grey one too. The tail gate has multiple dings on it from being used over the years and being an original item. It does have delay wipers with washer but the washer doesn't work, I have another wiper motor to go with the truck. I have replaced the floor pans, ab supports, ab mounts, nner and outer rocker panels, ick panels, nner fenders, ab corners, uter fenders, oors, ood, ed used , nstalled new bumpers and brackets, nstalled new weatherstrip and window rubbers, nstalled new lenses and headlight bezels, ew '72 C-10 outside mirrors and new outside door handles. You are welcome to have this vehicle checked out by any local certified mechanic of your choice before the end of the auction. All the gauges work with the exception of the clock. The bed floor was replaced with the steel floor out of a different bed and a rubber bed mat was installed. These square bodies are hot.
